Contramestre Bodinho
Capoeira has been my life for the past 21 years. Under the guidance of Mestre Urubu Malandro of Capoeira Ijexá, I currently teach and offer workshops around the Bay Area. My other passion is visual art, so the Capoeira Coloring Book is an attempt to use this medium to express my deep appreciation for this art form and its participants. Over the years, I have created many event t-shirts and posters for the capoeira community. The Capoeira Coloring Book, however, allows others to incorporate their axé into my designs, and truly has been a labor of love.
